Lenses

The projection of light through a lens. It is essentially a live stream of reality through a medium that is very simple and elementary, a lens. With this piece I also tried to involve as little technology as possible, because the process must be very simple and at the same time interesting, you could say it’s a timekeeping piece. Because of the multiple lenses there are multiple projections that differ from each other but they differ maybe just by a small nuance. This repetition of the projections I think dissects the reality that we see and forces the viewer to contemplate on the very physical nature of reality and space around us.
